The Halo Infinite campaign has been pushed back to 2019. The upcoming game will still focus on cooperative play, but it’ll be a little different this time around.

The “halo infinite release date” is a topic that has been pushed back. The game’s co-op campaign and Forge mode have been pushed back as well.

In an interview with Eurogamer, 343 Industries’ president of creative Joseph Staten said that Halo Infinite’s campaign co-op and Forge features would not be released on time.

Co-op was supposed to be out in Season 2 and Forge in Season 3. 343 Industries, on the other hand, just agreed to prolong Season 1 until May 2022. As a consequence, the modes will not be released when they were supposed to.

“Yes, Season 1 will be extended.” So our plan remains the same as it was previously, which is to release campaign co-op with Season 2 and Forge with Season 3,” Staten stated.

“However, those objectives persist. Those are still the goals. And we can’t provide any definite dates right now because, as we’ve seen with the multiplayer beta, other things may rise to the top of our priority list.”

If things continue to shift, Staten said the team would “clearly communicate.” The two Halo Infinite game types, he said, are “very significant promises” that the team must deliver on.

As a result of the news, Halo Infinite will be released in a more staggered manner than previously. The multiplayer beta is currently open, and the single-player campaign will be released in the coming weeks.

Nonetheless, initial reactions to both have been encouraging. When it comes to XP, the multiplayer needs a little more work, but 343 Industries is aware of this.

Williams enjoys walking around the neighborhood with his wife and dog when he is not writing up news. It’s either that or a cup of hot chocolate. Or you could do both.
