The PlayStation Now service offers some pretty good games, and the subscription is cheaper than buying new titles. But if you’re looking to play brand-new console games on your PC without having to purchase a PS4 or Xbox One, there are better options out there.
The “is ps now worth it reddit” is a question that has been asked many times. It’s hard to answer the question because there are so many different factors involved. The best way to decide if PS Now is worth it, would be by playing games on the service and seeing how you like them.

PS Then I’m not sure what’s going on with PS Now and its conversion to PS Plus Premium right now, but deleting over 50 titles just before it occurs is a strange flex. I’m not sure what that means other than Konami and Sega aren’t on board, but whether there’s more to come (or rather go) doesn’t really matter now that it’s been established that Premium won’t simply be PS Now rebranded.
If I had to guess, I’d say they were removed because PS Now isn’t just for retro games; there are a lot of PlayStation 4 games in there as well, and I guess the idea now is that Premium is for retro games only, while Extra, the second tier (I had to double-check that, this is getting confusing) is the Game Pass equivalent.
That still doesn’t explain why they’d modify PS Now at the last minute, although it may be anything as mundane as licensing and contracts. However, I am concerned that the entire thing will become too intricate and spread itself too thin. What if I just cared about the old games? I don’t have that choice, however I could simply get PS Now and acquire more games on top of it right now.
PS Now has always been terrific value in my opinion, particularly as it would often include much more recent games. Its main issue was a lack of promotion. If you ask me, I’d rather see Sony conduct a big promotional campaign for it than hike the price quietly. But it’s too late for that now… Franky
Individuals who are real I can’t believe some people criticized Selene’s appearance in Returnal, claiming she wasn’t attractive enough. She’s such a mysterious figure, and although she’s not very attractive, she’s certainly not unattractive.
It reminded me of the whole Abby snub in The Last Of Us Part 2. I’m delighted Abby and Elly resembled each other since I know individuals who look like them. It gave them more credibility. There are far too many attractive individuals on television, but gamers may be more daring with their heroes.
When I first had to play as Abby in The Last Of Us Part 2, I was irritated because all I wanted to do was murder her for Ellie. However, as the story went, my loyalties shifted, and as the stakes became higher, I found myself yelling at the screen, “Don’t murder her, Ellie!”
Easily the finest film I’ve never seen. Vaughan (PSN ID: Tiddleydwarf)
Uncharted 5 vs. God Of War 9 So, I just learned about Uncharted 5’s development. The good news is that it might result in Nolan North reprising his most famous role. The bad news is that I can’t seem to care less about anything. I’ve observed that Naughty Dog is putting a lot of emphasis on its two primary franchises, one of which is a zombie story set in a brutal and gruesome environment. The other is a series that spent three games setting out a repetitious plot basis.
The gameplay is linear and dull, with the same goal: find riches, kill some stupid guys, and hear some one-liners. It’s entertaining, and it used to be fantastic back when the PlayStation 3 was available. However, this is a tested and true method, and we should be moving on.
The Last of Us was successful because it was novel. Although I loved the second game greatly, it was more of the same, and the plot was disappointing. I don’t know about you, but I’m not interested in playing the upcoming Uncharted game. I’ll simply have to wait till God Of War Ragnarök comes out. Sadiq Shahzaib
GC: Wait, didn’t you just say you were giving up video games to focus on ‘growing up’ on Monday?

Too well concealed I believe that genuine stealth in games has been severely underutilized in recent decades, therefore your preview of Sniper Elite 5 has piqued my attention. I’m really intrigued…
I loved Hitman 3 and it seems that this would be similar, so fingers crossed that the finished product comes together nicely when you review it. FoximusPrime81 (for the time being) (gamertag/NN ID/Twitter)
Happy 4th of July to you! The PSN Store has a deal on Star Wars Pinball VR. It’s £9.99 instead of £19.99! I anticipate it to go on sale next week, since most people are aware that May 4th is a significant date in the Star Wars universe. It will be available for purchase till May 11th. If you didn’t already know, George Lucas’s birthday is on May 14th. Andrew J. is a member of the Andrew J. PS: Just Die Already (not a very pleasant name!) and Paradigm are free on Epic Store starting at 4 p.m. today. Epic Games Store has never given them out for free before. Unless GameCentral can contradict me, even if you don’t like certain games and still download them for free, the developer will be compensated by Epic.
GC: We believe that is the case.
Electric abyss In Returnal, if you learn the Dreadbound cannon, you can fully demolish the enemy assault, but the Electropylon Driver was a fantastic weapon to utilize, especially against the Abyssal Scar Malformed Typhonops. Set up an electric hellscape and use the grappling hook to dodge malfunction hits while slicing and dicing the smaller foes as the big man fries.
Nothing matches a maxed up Dreadbound for the Ascension Tower in my opinion. It’s fascinating to see mini-bosses being pulverized by the top score, which stands at over a preposterous 250 million on YouTube. I give a thumbs up to whomever the player is. It’s also worth mentioning the fantastic Algos conflict, which, in its final phase, is like seeing the world’s most spectacular fireworks show to commemorate the creation of a new universe.
What is your favorite boss battle for readers and GC? Wonk
GC: For us, it’s obviously Hyperion. Aside from that, the usage of music is superb.
Resolution that isn’t required Last year, when I said I was planning to purchase an 8K Samsung TV, I was advised I was wasting my money and that I should get a top-of-the-line 4K instead. Can I claim that purchasing the 8K saved me money? My TV is ready for PlayStation 5, and I’ve discovered that it can run at 120 frames per second and has full VRR compatibility, so I won’t have to change anytime soon.
If I had gotten a 4K, I’m sure I would have upgraded twice, once for 120fps and again for VRR. Just keep in mind that if you purchase cheap, you’ll have to buy twice. Fortunately, I made the proper decision the first time. David
GC: Those characteristics have nothing to do with 8K.

Pratt’s demise In respect to Chris Pratt’s voice Mario sans the distinctive Italian accent, he has been criticized.
I recall a few years ago, well, quite a few years ago now, when Daniel Craig was revealed as the next Bond, he had his fair share of diehard Bond fan criticism.
When he was unveiled to the press, he was blonde, looked little wimpish, and was wearing a life jacket on a boat. At first sight, it seemed to be completely incorrect.
However, Daniel Craig’s performance in Casino Royale probably only took about five minutes to erase everyone’s memories of what Bond used to be and what Bond is today. I’m sure Idris Elba would do the same thing if he ever got the part of James Bond, but I digress.
Will Smith in the live-action Aladdin film is in the same boat. Ignoring his recent horrible behavior at the Academy Awards, he received a lot of flak for portraying the genie, but I believe he performed a fantastic job.
Let’s not forget that he was filling in for Robin Williams, who left some very huge shoes to fill. Nobody has ever and will never be able to match that performance.
Anyway, what I’m getting at is that Chris Pratt is getting a lot of flak before anyone has even heard his Mario performance.
Illumination Studios isn’t new to the game, and they seem to know what they’re doing.
But it was the casting of Jack Black as Bowser that piqued my curiosity. It’s practically hard to feel offended or intimidated by that guy since he constantly appears to have so much fun with his voice and acts. Which leads me to wonder, “Did he audition for the Mario voiceover job and then get another role?” As I understand it, this occurs a lot in voiceover acting.
Of course, I’m just guessing here, and I’m sure it’ll all work out in the end, but if that’s the case, they must have seen something noteworthy in Chris Pratt’s performance that made him stand out.
Let’s give this man a chance, that’s all I’m saying. I’m sure a lot of performers went out of their way to apply for the part of one of the most renowned video game characters of all time, so he must have done something well.
On a related point, I really hope Charles Martinet’s name appears in some form in the voiceover credits. I believe we can all agree that he at the very least deserves it. highway 77
GC: For the record, we’ve never been fans of Daniel Craig in the role since he’s such a jerk. Even though he seems like a solid choice for Bowser, that’s an intriguing point regarding Jack Black. Thankfully, Charles Martinet’s appearance has already been confirmed.
also-rans in your inbox Can you tell us more about Ron Gilbert’s upcoming Monkey Island 3: Return To Monkey Island? This is unquestionably Inbox magic at work. I’m aware that there have been several interim reboots, but this seems to be the actual thing. Kirk, Matt
GC: This isn’t Monkey Island 3, and the series has never been rebooted. Despite the fact that it will continue from the conclusion of Monkey Island 2, the new game will reportedly include features from all of the previous titles, including Escape From Monkey Island.
You are not the odd one out, Razzledazzle! I only play one game at a time as well! I used to jump in and out of games, which meant I had a lot of unfinished games, but now I concentrate on one at a time before going on to the next. LastYearsModel
The topic for this week’s Hot Topic is Cubby, a reader, proposed the topic for this weekend’s Inbox, asking, “What is your favorite game of the current generation?”
It’s been an odd start to the new generation, but now that it’s been a year and a half, what do you believe is the finest game on the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X/S?
You can speak about cross-gen games since there are so few next-gen exclusives, but which one has impressed you the most and why? What do they say about the next generation, if anything, and what do you want to see from future consoles?
